Mr Nitin Shetty is a Consultant in Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery with a special interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), degenerative conditions affecting the back and neck and infections and fractures of the spine. {{ label }}
Mr Shetty graduated from India and completed a postgraduate degree in Orthopaedics in India. He trained as a registrar on the London-KSS deanery. Subsequently, he completed two spinal fellowships at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and then at Guys and St. Thomas Hospital.
Mr Shetty was trained in Spinal deformity cases and also in Minimally Invasive surgical procedures. Most of his cases are carried out using an operating Microscope. He has been involved in full time research in the past and this has led to a degree by submission of a thesis. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. His is actively involved in teaching and training of junior trainees and Orthopaedic registrars.
Mr Shetty has an interest in Minimally Invasive Spinal operations. His present work includes degenerative spinal conditions, infection and fractures.
