Your Food

Serving the finest food

All of our food is prepared on-site by our Head Chef and his experienced team, using only the freshest ingredients.

With a menu that changes daily and caters for all dietary requirements (including diabetic, gluten-free, halal and kosher options), you’ll be spoilt for choice as you order your breakfast, lunch and three-course dinner.

Each meal will be delivered to your private room for you to enjoy in peace and help your recovery.

Our menus

We have the following types of menus available:

  • Breakfast – a continental and full English breakfast, with a selection of home-made morning goods such as Chef’s famous preserves
  • Light lunch – a post-operation menu that gently helps you get your appetite back
  • Daily lunch – a fine selection of hot and cold options for those with an appetite, including fresh home-made soups
  • Daily dinner – an extensive three course dinner menu (a sample menu can be downloaded from this page)
  • Sandwiches – a full range of freshly-made sandwiches are offered, if preferred to a meal
  • Afternoon tea – tea and cake is served each afternoon, and guests of patients are welcome to indulge free of charge

Food allergies

Please inform us ahead of admission if you suffer from any food allergies and the chef can create a bespoke menu if required. All foods are prepared in a kitchen that handles tree nuts, peanuts and celery. Should you require any allergen information, please do not hesitate to ask our catering team as allergy recipe information for all dishes are available on request.

Achieving the highest standards for hygiene

Our Head Chef, Clint Dsouza, runs an immaculate kitchen and our catering team maintains optimum standards in all aspects of food preparation. In every inspection since 2008 we have been awarded a 5, the highest score for food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in the Food Standards Agency’s Food Hygiene Rating Scheme.
