Dr Benjamin J Roberton is a consultant musculoskeletal, interventional and general radiologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and private institutions across London. {{ label }}
Dr Benjamin J Roberton is a consultant musculoskeletal, interventional and general radiologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and private institutions across London. He underwent undergraduate training at the University of Edinburgh, radiology training at Chelsea and Westminster, and is dual fellowship trained, undertaking an interventional radiology fellowship at Vancouver General and the University of British Columbia following an MSK fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
He is an expert in sports imaging, dealing with elite athletes at international and premiership levels, and he joined the radiology team for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. He has extensive Interventional Radiology experience, with particular interests in musculoskeletal, oncologic and paediatric intervention, including bone and soft tissue ablation and embolisation techniques.
Other interests include venous imaging and intervention, performing endovascular treatment of varicose veins and treating vascular malformations.He is widely published, has delivered lectures at national and international meetings and peer reviews publications for a number of journals. He is engaged in medical education and an honorary senior clinical lecturer at Imperial College and both research and undergraduate lead for Radiology at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
When he’s not working, Dr Roberton is passionate about science and exploration. He enjoys adventurous pursuits, travel and the outdoors and nearly became an astronaut. He is also a dedicated environmentalist and naturalist. He lives in Putney and Hamphshire with his wife, three daughters and a scruffy dog.
