Dr Brown qualified from Oxford University, then undertook his specialist training in London, and academic training with a PhD at the MRC Research Unit in Entebbe, Uganda. He is a Consultant Physician and Clinical Lead at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, UCLH, and a Senior Lecturer at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. {{ label }}
His clinical practice is in acute general medicine; community- and hospital-acquired infection, tropical medicine and tuberculosis. He has an active research interest in helminth infections and in migrant health.
