How to Book

Booking an appointment at King Edward VII’s Hospital is simple. Our dedicated service coordinates everything for you. Call us today on 020 7467 4344.

Will I need a letter of referral from my GP?

If you are paying for your appointment through private medical insurance then you need to provide a referral letter from a GP. You should check with your insurance provider before attempting to book an appointment without a referral letter.

If you are self-funding and you know the name of the specialist you would like to see, or you know the specialty but need advice on the specialist, you may not need a referral letter.

This depends on the specialist’s preference and our booking and enquiries service will be able to advise you further.

If you do not have a GP, or you do not want to wait for an appointment, you can see one of our in-house GPs at King Edward VII’s to fast-track your treatment with our specialist teams.
