Dr Niall MacCallum

Dr MacCallum qualified from UMDS of Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals in 1994, initially starting his training in general medicine before entering the Imperial School of Anaesthesia and the Pan-London training in Intensive Care Medicine.

He was awarded a British Heart Foundation Fellowship for his higher research training at the National Heart and Lung Institute / Royal Brompton Hospital. As well as being awarded his PhD by the University of London, he holds post graduate qualifications in medicine, anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. He started as a consultant at ULCH in 2009. He currently co-leads the Critical Care Clinical Trial Team.
