Dr Rebecca Hayes is a Menopause Specialist at King Edward VII's Hospital and is part of the breast cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). She covers all aspects of menopause care and has a particular interest in breast cancer patients. {{ label }}
Dr Hayes works in close partnership with breast surgeons, gynaecologists and oncologists to put patients at the centre of care, thereby improving quality of life and outcomes. She has undertaken training in Dense Breast and Supplemental Screening, UPMC AMA PRA Category 1 Certificate.
Her background of over ten years in General Practice enables her to provide a holistic approach to her patients and also to consider preventative measures with a particular focus on cardiovascular and osteoporosis risk.
She continues to work as a GP in the NHS at the Knightsbridge Medical Centre providing her with a unique understanding of how both private and NHS care can complement each other and helping patients to navigate these distinct but complementary pathways. Rebecca is an active member of the British Menopause Society and follows their standard of care. She has a wealth of experience in bespoke menopause care having led the menopause service in past roles in the both the NHS and private sector.
She undertook her General Practice training scheme in Central London completing in 2009. She has been Clinical Lead and developed Women’s Health Services and Menopause care at Doctor Care Anywhere, Health Management UK, Prime Health Partners and is Medical Director at Chiswick Menopause Clinic. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her two children and has a passion for growing dahlias.
