Support And Aftercare

Your positive experience shouldn’t end once you leave King Edward VII’s. We pride ourselves on the support and aftercare we provide to all our patients.

Follow-up

The ward sister, charge nurse and physiotherapist will give you follow-up support – including details of rehabilitation centres, equipment or convalescent homes – and can help you make arrangements to receive care or nursing services at home.

Occupational therapy

We can arrange for an occupational therapist to visit you. Please discuss this with your physiotherapist.

Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy

Our physiotherapists can help if your mobility decreases or you have falls at home. They can also help with respiratory conditions.

If you wish to continue your physiotherapy or hydrotherapy after your discharge, your physiotherapist will arrange this for you before you leave. Alternatively, you can call 020 7567 4316 once you go home.
