Dr Carla Cordivari obtained her medical degree in Bologna, Italy. She is a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, consulting privately at The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth. She performs and interprets the neurophysiology of the nerve and muscle (NCS and EMG) for the diagnosis of generalised peripheral neuropathy, focal nerve entrapments, radiculopathies, myopathy and neuromuscular transmission disorder.
Over the last 10 years she has also developed an interest in the use of Botulinum toxin treatment for spasticity, dystonia and hyperhidrosis. She also has a special interest in the neurophysiology of psychogenic movement disorders.
