Robert Marston qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1985. He was a Higher Surgical Trainee on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital/Middlesex Hospital rotation. During this time, he did clinical research as Johnson and Johnson Fellow to Professor Bentley and further training in hip surgery with Sarah Muirhead Allwood as Zimmer Fellow. {{ label }}
He won a British Orthopaedic Associate Travelling Fellowship to the United States and Queensland.
He was Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon to St Mary‘s Hospital/Imperial in 1995 until 2016.
He now has a full-time private practice at King Edward VII’s Hospital, specialising in hip and knee replacement and hip and knee trauma.
