Before or after your breast cancer surgery, your consultant may have mentioned the condition lymphoedema to you. It affects 1 in 5 people who have treatment for breast cancer, either surgery or radiotherapy.

Receiving the all clear after breast cancer treatment marks the end of a long journey of therapies and possibly surgery. It can leave you with a mix of emotions ranging from relief to a fear of the unknown.
