Whenever you have medical treatment, there's always a risk that things become more complicated than first expected. Your surgeon may need to spend extra time with you in theatre, order additional tests or consumables, or you may need to spend more time recovering in hospital. Any quote you receive prior to treatment is therefore liable to increase.
Protect yourself from uncertainty by choosing a fixed price package.
A fixed price package gives you peace of mind, as the price you see is the price you pay. You won't have to worry about incurring additional, unexpected costs, leaving you to focus on your treatment and recovery.
Some packages are also available on an 'all-inclusive' basis. The costs that are normally billed separately, such as your surgeon and anaesthetist fees, are bundled together into one single all-inclusive package price.
All-inclusive packages are only available for certain procedures and it's important to understand what is and isn't included in your treatment package before you proceed.
Standard pre-admission assessments
Drugs and dressings
Standard prosthesis charges
Unplanned admission to Critical Care Unit
Re-admission to hospital within six months due to complication
