Dr Fieldman is a Chartered Psychologist and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. A former academic psychologist, George has a PhD from King’s College London, and specialised in evolutionary psychology and health psychology. He has taught abnormal psychology and counselling psychology on a British Psychological Society accredited BSc programme. {{ label }}
George trained in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy at University College London. He studied occupational stress, both in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford, and later as a Research Fellow at St George’s in London. Also at Oxford, he researched the psychobiology of altruism. Later, he went on to supervise six successful doctoral students researching evolutionary psychology and the psychophysiology of occupational stress.
George is also an experienced Executive Coach and has worked with many senior individuals. He has contributed to BBC, radio, TV and online, regarding topics in evolutionary psychology and occupational stress. He works in private practice in Chelsea and at King Edward VII’s Hospital. George enjoys family, friends, films, Kew Gardens, music and conversation.
