Hydrotherapy

King Edward VII’s Hospital places great emphasis on rehabilitation and as part of your recovery may use our purpose built hydrotherapy pool, aided by our highly experienced team of chartered physiotherapists.

If you’ve had treatment such as foot, knee, hip or shoulder surgery, the warmth and support of the water helps to decrease pain, improve mobility and enhance balance and co-ordination.

Use one of London's only purpose-built hydrotherapy pools

Hydrotherapy can benefit a wide spectrum of conditions, from sports injuries to arthritis and chronic pain. It can also help with rehabilitation after an operation. Many patients find using the water an excellent first step to recovery after musculoskeletal surgery.

Our highly experienced team of physiotherapists will be able to ease you into a range of exercises to aid mobility and recover, while the water relieves the pressure from your body allowing a wider range of movement.

Our physiotherapists work in closely with consultants and clinical nurse specialists to tailor make a plan that works for you as an individual.
