Once you’ve chosen your consultant, book a face-to-face initial consultation. We provide modern, comfortable, private outpatient facilities for you to meet your specialist.

Will I need a letter of referral from my GP?

If you fund your appointment through private medical insurance, in most cases you’ll need to provide a referral letter from a GP. Check with your insurance provider before you attempt to book an appointment without a referral letter. Make sure you obtain a pre-authorisation code.

If you are self-funding and you know the name of the specialist you would like to see – or you know the specialty but need advice on the specialist – you may not need a referral letter.
