Non-Medical Referrers

How to refer

We are delighted that as of January 2024, King Edward VII’s Hospital Diagnostic and Imaging Centre is able to take referrals for orthopeadic (incl. spinal) scans from non-medical practitioners such as physiotherapists and osteopaths (within their scope of practice).

Non-medical practitoners will be able to request referal rights for 3T MRI and Ultrasound (if within their scope of practice). Our state-of-the-art Diagnostic and Imaging Centre is staffed my a team of highly qulaified imaging specialsits and with results within 24-48 hours and more than 80% of reports being delivered within 24 hours of the examination being performed.

If you would like to refer a patient to our imaging services, please call 020 7467 4317 or email imagingsecretary@kingedwardvii.co.uk to discuss your options.

You can also download the Non-Medical imaging request form below for your records. Once accepted you will be able to use this to referr your patients for imaging.
