You’ll lead radiographers, support workers and admin teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and professional growth.
What You’ll Lead & Achieve
Leadership & Workforce Management
Own the delivery of a motivated, empowered workforce — from managing staffing and training to driving engagement and leading department‑wide communication.
Strategic Direction & Service Development
Partner with senior leaders to deliver and innovate diagnostic imaging strategy, ensuring exceptional care while identifying opportunities for cost‑effective service improvement.
Quality, Safety & Governance Excellence
Bring your specialist expertise to strengthen clinical standards, oversee incident management, drive quality improvement, and support CQC compliance.
Policy, Assurance & External Accreditation
Lead updates to controlled documents, embed best‑practice guidance, and prepare the department for external assessments and audits.
Financial & Contract Oversight
Take ownership of contract management and ensure seamless payroll processes for all imaging staff.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Represent the service at committees, collaborate with internal and external partners, and deliver high‑quality reporting.
Training & Compliance Leadership
Maintain oversight of statutory and mandatory training to keep our team skilled, safe, and future‑ready.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking an inspiring leader and clinically strong imaging professional who brings:
- HCPC registration & BSc/Diploma in Radiography
- Proven supervisory or management experience
- Strong, values-based leadership capabilities with the ability to drive change
- High‑level expertise across imaging modalities, quality assurance and safety governance
- A calm, professional, solutions‑focused mindset — even under pressure
- Commitment to CPD and continuous improvement
