Mr Tim Davidson has been a Consultant Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Breast Surgery at the Royal Free Hospital since joining the Royal Free in 1997. He obtained specialist degrees in medicine (MRCP 1979) and surgery (FRCS 1982) in London, and his surgical higher degree (ChM 1988) from his alma mater Cape Town University following cancer-related research at the Royal Marsden Hospital
Mr Davidson a member of the Association of Breast Surgery and chaired the ABS Medico-legal Subcommittee. He was Medical Director of the charity Cancerkin from 2003 to 2017 and has published a wide range of peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and book chapters. Mr Davidson maintains an interest in surgical research and advancing surgical practice.
He now works privately full-time as a General and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in London. Mr Davidson is married with four children, has interests in art, music, cinema and cycling, and now has an energetic whippet-labrador cross that keeps him from flagging!
