An exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic Finance team at King Edward VII’s Hospital.

This role will be responsible for supporting and driving forward the Charity / Hospital’s financial accounting, business and management reporting, financial analysis, systems accounting and control activities, to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice and charity and company guidelines.

This is a strategic role which will work alongside the Finance Director, assisting with resource management, budget and performance reviews, projections, planning and monitoring of the commercial aspect of the business.

This role will also lead a high performing Finance team, providing leadership and guidance to its direct reports.

We are looking for someone who has had experience in a similar role, specifically experience in;

  • Preparation of management financial information
  • Contribution to year-end Audited Accounts.
  • Strategic Business planning, Budgets.
  • Staff Management.
  • Experience of Private Healthcare
  • Contribution to Commercial Decision Making.

They will have high numerical skills, excellent communication skills, highly developed analytical skills and an ability to train and motivate staff.
