The Diagnostic Imaging Department aims to provide both patients and referring clinicians with a consistently high quality service, ensuring safe and effective patient care whilst maintaining privacy and dignity throughout.
We have a team of over 20 invited consultant radiologists, specialising in all the major sub-disciplines of radiology.
Our qualified technical and support staff work as a team to provide patients with the best care.We pride ourselves on delivering a timely and effective service to respond to the needs of our referring doctors. We use a range of state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology to produce high quality images and deliver precise outcomes for patients and doctors.

Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
Referals
Patients must have a signed request form from either their GP or Specialist Consultant. These can be faxed in advance (preferred) or patients can bring their request form with them on the day.
Appointments
Appointments are required for all examinations with the exception of general x-rays which can be performed on a walk-in basis.
Results
Routine imaging reports are sent to the referring clinician within 24 hours or via individual arrangement for named referrals.
Payment Process
Inpatient charges will be included in the main hospital account.Outpatients will need to contact their insurance company prior to imaging to obtain pre-authorisation. Self paying patients are kindly requested to settle their account on the day of attendance.
