Grants

The Hospital provides health grants for those of more limited means through its Sister Agnes Benevolent Fund.

Anyone who is uninsured and has ever served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces - regardless of their rank or length of Service - is eligible to apply for a means tested grant. This grant is also open to the spouses, ex-spouses, widows and widowers of those who have served.

Grants can cover up to 100% of Hospital fees. In addition, there is also the opportunity for consultant fees to be covered by grants. Please enquire further if this would be helpful.

Subsidies

Uninsured Service personnel, their spouses, ex-spouses, widows and widowers are all eligible for a 20% subsidy on their Hospital bill.

This subsidy is given regardless of rank or length of service. When booking your procedure you must tell either your consultant's secretary, or the Hospital directly, that you are a service patient.

Please note that we will require proof of service to authorise the grant or subsidy.
