As Fundraising Manager, one of Sally’s key roles will be to support the launch of a £5million capital appeal to build a much needed fourth operating theatre at the Hospital. Sally will work closely with the Hospital’s network of Friends and donors on this aim. Sally will also oversee other fundraising projects, ensuring the Hospital continues with its tradition of supporting the military.
Prior to joining King Edward VII’s Hospital, Sally spent 10 years as fundraising and communications manager at the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. In this role, Sally managed a team of fundraising specialists in capital appeals, legacy, corporate and community fundraising.
Sally says: “The King Edward VII’s Hospital fundraising division benefits from a generous network of donors. We are committed to building up this network and ensuring their generosity is put to the best use towards the Hospital’s charitable aims. We are committed to Hospital founder, Sister Agnes’, vision to provide the highest standards of care to all.”
The Hospital’s Chief Executive, John Lofthouse, says: “I’m delighted to welcome Sally Hilton to the Hospital. Sally joins us with an abundance of experience in fundraising, and with some big goals for the future direction of the Hospital. She will add additional expertise to an already strong fundraising team, helping us to continue to meet our charitable goals.”
