Essential Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 – Operation Department Practice

RGN Level 1 with theatre training and/or experience

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

 

These posts are open to registered nurses and Theatre Practitioners with a qualification and a minimum of one year's experience in Scrub.

The successful candidates will be required to work flexibly, depending on the requirements of the department.

These positions require organised, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work with both teams providing a high quality service to patients and theatre users.

Due to an increase in activity we now require Theatre Practitioners to work in Scrub. The current team structure, is split with specialist Theatre Scrub Practitioners and Anaesthetics & Recovery Practitioners. We are supported by a team of Theatre Porters. We have three state of the art Theatres, two of which are equipped with laminar airflow technology which gives extra prevention against the risk of airborne contamination and surgical site infections.
