In 2006, King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes introduced the use of the revolutionary lint free Microfibre as a cleaning material, a method that has shown in tests to reduce micro-organism growth by 99% compared with 30% when using traditional detergent based cleaning systems.
Clive Bath says; “preventing the spread of infection is the key to maintaining King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes’ impeccable record of zero-incidence for MRSA and C.Difficile. This has been achieved year on year through the hard work and the dedication of our in-house Hotel Services team, who are trained and managed by Jeff Hoad and Jennifer Jordan-Moss. Patients rightly expect a clean and safe hospital and King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes will continue to strive to maintain an exemplary level of cleanliness in all areas of the Hospital”.
King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes was short listed in the category for Hotel Services alongside two other distinguished independent healthcare facilities, Anchor Home and Four Seasons Health Care. The winner was determined following a site visit and formal presentation made by the nominees to the judges.
